Douglas lifeboat and coastguard were called out for the second time in a day to rescue a person from the foot of cliffs.
The coastguard had been called out at around 10pm yesterday to help search for a missing person and heard them shouting for help, while the RNLI team were brought in just before midnight to help recover the person from the cliffs at the Toll Gate on Marine Drive.
Crews decided it would be best to recover the casualty back up the cliffs to Marine Drive.
Once back at the top the person was handed over to paramedics and taken to hospital for treatment.
