Twenty-two shooters took part in the first of Ayre Clay Target Club’s Sportrap Summer League at Blue Point range on Sunday. Kevin Oates was the winner of the Chrystals Estate Agents’ sponsored event on 47/50. Marty Kneen was second on 43 with Nigel Moffatt in third place on 39.
Results:
A Class: 1, Kevin Oates 47/50; 2, Marty Kneen 43; 3, Nigel Moffatt 39.
B Class: 1, Gareth Hooson-Owen 32; 2=, Corina Clague and Dave Corlett 31.
C Class: 1, Jamie Hancox 35; 2, Paul Mihailovits 34; 3, Ted Davis and Peter Lowe30.
This weekend at Blue Point we have the first of the Harding Lewis sponsored English Sporting League on Sunday; entries close at 10.15am. Easter Monday’s competition is the annual Easter Sporting Handicap over 50 targets, sponsored by Farmers Combine of Ramsey. Entries close at 12.30 pm.
