Abortion debate to continue in House of Keys

The Abortion Reform Bill will continue to be discussed in this morning's sitting of the House of Keys.

Ramsey MHK Dr Alex Allinson is attempting to update the Island's current laws, making terminations more accessible to women on the Isle of Man.

40 amendments are listed on this week's order paper as the Consideration of Clauses stage continues.

MHKs will also be asked to consider the inclusion of access zones around surgeries and hospitals that would be providing abortion services.

Digital TV and Biosphere accreditation are also due to be discussed at this week's sitting.
