Police urge public to keep property safe

Police are urging the public not to give thieves opportunities after items were stolen from a bicycle in Baldrine.

The bike was stored on a rack on the rear of the vehicle when a torch, toolkit and cycling clothing were taken.

The theft happened overnight from Saturday into Sunday.

Officers say this is a timely reminder for people to protect their property and not present such opportunities to thieves.
