Coffee roaster fire results in callout for fire crews

Fire crews were called out following a fire at a bakery in Douglas.

Firefighter attended the scene at Noa Bakehouse on Fort Street on Wednesday lunchtime.

By the time the team arrived, staff had managed to put the fire in the extraction system for a coffee roaster out.

The power was isolated and an engineer called out to check the appliance, with the fire crews spending around 15 minutes at the scene.
