An organisation that works to keep the Island's beaches clean says a new sewage plant in the north of the Island has transformed the Ramsey shoreline.
Volunteers from Beach Buddies Isle of Man found more than 7,500 babywipes on Ramsey beach last December, but only a handful were collected during a more recent clean.
The reduction coincides with the Balladoole sewage treatment plant going online late last year.
Beach Buddies founder Bill Dale described the difference as a complete transformation, and said the plant has made the beach in Ramsey so much better.
