DfE to issue fire safety advice to campsite operators

Campsite operators on the Island will be given advice on fire safety ahead of the peak tourist season.

Permanent operators and those that run temporary facilities over TT and the Festival of Motorcycling will be offered information on fire safety requirements, health and safety tips and improving the quality of their campsite.

The Department for Enterprise says it's essential for all campsites to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors.

The presentation will also be open to those considering running a campsite in the future.

The event will take place at the Keyll Darree Lecture Theatre on April 26th.
