Hospice Isle of Man is seeking planning permission to make changes to its entrance, reception and car park.
The facility, which is within the Nobles Hospital grounds, wants to increase the size of its car park by 22 spaces to provide extra spaces for staff, as well as adding extra disabled spaces.
The new entrance for the in-patient unit would include a canopy over the ambulance drop-off area, a seating area and revolving door.
Almost 400 patients are referred to the Hospice each year, with 200 admitted to the in-patient unit.
