Department for Enterprise a fifth smaller than DED

The Department for Enterprise is just over a fifth smaller than when it was the Department of Economic Development.

Enterprise Minister Laurence Skelly confirmed in the House of Keys that his Department now has 178 posts.

Economic Development had previously had 241 posts, but 16 were removed while 47 were transferred other Government Departments.

The Department for Enterprise was introduced in November last year following a Government review.
