Relocating Adult Social Care services is helping the Government save over £300,000 per year in rent.
Health and Social Care Minister David Ashford revealed moving the team out of Markwell House to Murray House will allow the Government Technology Services to take up the office space formerly used by Adult Social Care.
As a result, the Government no longer needs to rent St Andrew's House on Finch Road, saving £304,000 annually.
Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper questioned whether the move would prevent Adult Social Services working with Social Security, which is also based in Markwell House, but Mr Ashford insisting the relocation hasn't affected the two teams' working relationship.
