A prehistoric deer skeleton has been found near the shore in Kirk Michael.
The discovery was reported to the Manx Museum and Manx National Heritage excavated the bones last month.
The 10,000-year old skeleton became visible after a large block of silt broke after falling during a storm.
Two other complete or near complete deer skeletons have previously been discovered on the Island, and MNH hopes the public reports any further discoveries.
The most recent discovery has attracted interest from university and museum specialists, and is being cleaned for readiness for further study.
