Robert Watterson, Kevin Oates and James Bradley

Ayre Clay Target Club held three competitions on a vey busy weekend at Blue Point. Saturday’s shoot was the Double Trap Manx Championship, kindly sponsored by Sadler Agricultural Supplies. Kevin Oates was the clear winner after 150 targets, scoring 115. Robert Watterson was second on 104 with James Bradley taking third spot with 93.

Oates and Watterson shared the win in Sunday’s Olympic Trap league competition, scoring 36/50. Peter Lowe was third on 23.

Jeff Corkill was the winner of the 50 target Olympic Skeet competition, scoring 41/50. Marty Kneen was second on 38 with James Bradley taking third on 37.

This week at Blue Point is the first of the 50 target Summer Down the Line league competitions. Entries close at 10.15amC
