The Government is seeking feedback on plans to change the way it charges for commercial fishing licences.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is proposing tiered charges based on the size of a fishing vessel and the species it catches rather than the current flat annual fee.
DEFA says such a structure would mean those who benefit most from fishing in the Island's territorial waters would contribute the most towards managing them.
The Department hopes the changes would cover approximately a third of the £697,000 it spends managing the fisheries each year.
The full consultation documents and details of how to respond can be found on the Government's website.
