Ramsey MHK takes up Cabinet Office role

Ramsey MHK Dr Alex Allinson takes on a new role within the Manx Government today.

Dr Allinson has been appointed to the role of Member for the Cabinet Office, which has been vacant since David Ashford because Health Minister in January.

The Department for Enterprise has also reshuffled its political members, with Martyn Perkins leaving the Department.

The Garff MHK remains a member of the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture, as well as chairman of the Office of Fair Trading, while Dr Allinson retains positions withing the Department of Home Affairs and Manx Utilities.
