The Manx Government has welcomed the UK's proposed Withdrawal Agreement ahead of their exit from the European Union.
The agreement would allow the Isle of Man to maintain its current relationship with the EU through the UK during its Implementation Period, meaning goods will be able to freely move between the Island and the EU.
Chief Minister Howard Quayle said he was pleased to see that the Island had been explicitly covered in the withdrawal treaty, and that the UK's stance on EU nationals reflects the position Manx authorities took up last year.
The Council of Minister previously pledged to protect the status of EEA national currently living and working in Crown Dependencies.
The Government insists it intends to ensure the Island's voice is heard as Brexit negotiations continue.
