More sailings cancelled due to weather

Tonight's Ben-my-Chree services have been cancelled as severe gale force winds continue to affect the Island.

The Steam Packet Company initially thought its 7.45pm crossing to Heysham and the return sailing at 2.15am wouldn't be affected.

However, the operator now says conditions haven't improved as originally forecast, forcing it to cancel the sailings.

All of yesterday's services and today's earlier sailings were also cancelled due to Storm Emma.
