Almost 50 incidents on the Island's roads have involved cyclists or horse riders over the last three years.
Home Affairs Minister Bill Malarkey revealed in this week's sitting of the House of Keys that 46 accidents involving cyclists had been recorded, while three involved horses.
The Minister confirmed that his Department currently has a committee looking into road accidents and hopes this figure will come down in the future.
The Isle of Man Constabulary deals with around 1,000 road traffic collisions throughout the year.
