The Isle of Man Football Association says it won't be seeking membership of UEFA after a bid by Jersey failed.
The IoMFA previously stated it would discuss membership of European football's governing body until the outcome of Jersey's bid was known.
UEFA decided not to admit Jersey as its 56th member nation as the Channel Island nation isn't considered as an independent state.
The Manx body says it was right not to progress an application while the Jersey bid was being considered because of the potential financial implications, and that it will not be taking any further action at this point.
