Local businesses expect to increase employment in next six months

A Government survey of local businesses claims all sectors expect to increase employment over the next six months.

The Cabinet Office has published its first Business Confidence Survey, compiled from feedback by local employers.

The survey found finance to be the sector most confident of growth in the coming six months, while construction is the least confident.

All sectors indicated they were more optimistic of growth than they were in the previous six months, but over a quarter felt it isn't easy to do business on the Island.
