A team from Port Erin Coastguard and Port Erin Lifeboat were called out after a paddleboarder got into difficulty in the south of the Island.
The person was using a stand up paddleboard yesterday when they got into trouble due to a strong offshore easterly wind.
The paddleboarder managed to make it into the rocks below Bradda Head to wait for help.
The lifeboat was able to get close enough to rescue the person, while the Coastguard retrieved the paddleboard from the cliff.
