A man will appear in court today on drugs charges after almost half a million pounds worth of cannabis was seized from a vehicle at the Sea Terminal.
The 30-year-old from the Merseyside area has been charged with a number of drugs offences.
Officers from the Isle of Man Constabulary and Customs and Excise searched a number of vehicles at the Douglas sea port yesterday morning.
As a result, one vehicle that had come to the Island on the overnight ferry from Heysham was found to be carrying over 69kg of cannabis, which has an Isle of Man street value of around £440,000.
