Police are urging drivers to stop for school crossing patrol officers after a motorist failed to do so.
The Western Neighbourhood Policing Team issued an Endorsable Fixed Penalty Notice to a man for driving without due care and attention in relation to an incident outside Michael Primary School yesterday morning.
As a result, he'll receive three points on his licence and a £120 fine.
Officers are appealing for motorists to take care when travelling past schools, stick to the speed limits and obey the crossing officers.
