The Department of Health and Social Care insists it's not aware of any Meals on Wheels service users whose needs aren't being met.
The Department stopped funding the service provided by Age Concern earlier this year, resulting in those who need the meals having to turn to other suppliers.
In a written Tynwald answer, Minister David Ashford confirmed 278 people were receiving meals when the delivery subsidy ended in January.
He revealed the Department had purchased freezers for two people who had problems storing frozen meals, but otherwise his Department hasn't found recipients with needs that are no longer being met.
