Police are trying to trace a driver who knocked a cyclist off his bike on the Braaid Road.
The incident happened between St Marks and the Braaid roundabout shortly after midday yesterday.
The cyclist avoided fractures or serious injuries, but had to spend the night in hospital as a result of the incident.
Officers says the vehicle involved is a black coloured car with indicators on the wing mirrors.
Police are urging the driver, or anyone who can help identify the motorist, to contact Castletown Police Station on 822222.
