Environment Minister to face air quality questions

The Island's air quality will be discussed at this month's sitting of Tynwald.

Douglas North MHK Ralph Peake will ask the Environment Minister whether air quality is considered for biosphere status.

Geoffrey Boot will also be asked whether his Department is considering using nitrogen dioxide diffusion tubes to collect air quality data and how the air quality benefits of walking and cycling will be measured.

The February sitting of Tynwald gets underway on Tuesday.
