Castletown Town Commissioners are seeking views on the area's dog byelaws.
The local authority has launched a consultation on the current byelaws, which are due for renewal.
The Commissioners want to know whether additional areas of the town should be added to the list of sites dogs are prohibited from.
Areas where dogs are currently prohibited include the playing grounds at Castletown's schools, a number of car parks and children's play areas around the town.
The board also wants to hear views on allowing dogs to be at large on the beach.
A link to a questionnaire on the byelaws can be found on the Commissioners' Facebook page.
