A number of expert witnesses have been speaking in the House of Keys on the Abortion Reform Bill.
The House had been due to consider the proposals clause by clause, but switched to a committee-style sitting instead, allowing MHKs to ask questions of a panel of experts.
The evidence covered a range of areas, including abortions because of sex selection and protecting women from being coerced into an abortion.
The witnesses faced questions for over three hours as MHKs prepare to fine tune the Bill.
The speakers included a human rights activist, a retired gynaecologist and a Labour peer.
