Met Office warns of ice and wintry showers

A weather warning for ice and wintry showers will be in place until this afternoon.

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning with ice expected on higher ground as well as low lying areas in the central and eastern parts of the Island.

The forecast also warns of wintry showers, mainly affecting the north of the Island.

Conditions are expected to improve from 4pm.
