ACTC Round-up

Seventeen shooters lined up for the fifth and final round of Ayre Clay Target Club’s Winter English Skeet league at Blue Point on Sunday, kindly sponsored by Paul’s Gunstocks. Dave Corlett was the winner in wintery and windy conditions, shooting 49/50. Jeff Corkill was second on 45, with a tie for third place between Marty Kneen and Kevin Oates on 44.

Results:

A Class: 1, Dave Corlett 49; 2, Jeff Corkill 45; 3=, Marty Kneen and Kevin Oates 44.

B Class: 1, Madeline Simpson42; 2, Jack Kneen 40; 3, Bob Corlett 38.

C Class: 1, David Roberts 36; 2, Peter Chadney; 3= Glyn Hooson-Owen and Fred Waggett 28.

This week is the fifth round of the Top Spec Fencing DTL League. Entries close at 10.15am.
