Steam Packet warns sailings could be cancelled

The Steam Packet Company is warning its sailings could be disrupted or cancelled due to the weather conditions later today.

The ferry operator says the 8pm crossing to Heysham and 2.15am return service to Douglas could both be affected.

Winds reaching up to gale force eight are forecast this evening.

The Steam Packet will issue an update by 5.30pm.
