Proposals to change to Island's abortion laws will go through the next phase in next week's sitting of the House of Keys.
Dr Alex Allinson's Abortion Reform Bill will go through the consideration of clauses stage on Tuesday.
The clauses stage allows the House to debate the proposals clause by clause, and gives members an opportunity to propose amendments.
The Bill passed its second reading last month, while an attempt to send the changes to a committee failed to gain support.
The new legislation would allow more women to undergo abortions without having to travel off Island and ensure counselling is offered before and after the termination.
