Police remind drivers to stop for School Crossing Patrollers
Wed, 07 Feb 2018
Drivers are being reminded that they are legally required to stop for School Crossing Patrollers.
The Island's Roads Policing Unit says all drivers of all vehicles including bicycles must stop when the patroller holds the lollipop sign upright to allow pedestrians to cross.
The reminder comes following an incident this morning.
Those who ignore the lollipop sign may face prosecution, as well as putting people at risk of being hurt.
