Yellow weather warning issued due to frost, ice

A yellow weather warning will be in place on the Isle of Man throughout today after temperatures fell below freezing overnight.

The Met Office is warning of frost and ice across the Island, with a widespread frost and icy patches on damp roads expected.

Although temperatures will increase during the day, meteorologists at Ronaldsway expect some ice will remain in spots that are shaded from the sun.

As a result, the weather warning will remain in place until 6pm.
