Over a third of motorists who faced trials in the summary court last year weren't convicted.
16 cases went to trial in 2017, with two cases dismissed and four leading to not guilty verdicts.
The 10 convictions included one motorist found to be unfit through drink or drugs while another was convicted for causing death while driving without due care and attention
Only one of the two drink driving cases resulted in a conviction, while most of the convictions were for due care infringements.
According to figures released as part of a Freedom of Information request, no motoring cases made it to trial in the General Gaol court last year.
