The amount of money spent on responsive maintenance to social housing owned by the Government has increased by over 50% in the last five years.
In the 2012-13 financial year, the Department of Infrastructure spent £549.99 per unit on reactive maintenance, but this rose to £935.77 in the last financial period.
Planned general maintenance was £1363.97 during the 2016-17 period, less than £18 more than four years earlier.
The figures were revealed in response to a Freedom of Information request.
