Middle MHK Bill Shimmins wants to know what the Government is doing to reduce the amount of single use plastic it uses.

An MHK wants to know what the Government is doing to reduce its consumption of single use plastic.

Middle member Bill Shimmins is seeking details of the action being taken by Government departments, boards and offices to cut the use of plastics.

Chief Minister Howard Quayle will also be asked what targets have been set to cut plastic use.

The information will be revealed in this week's sitting of the House of Keys.
