The Island's fire service is urging Manx residents to keep portable heaters away from anything that may catch fire after being called out in Peel.
Crews were called to Fenella Terrace on Saturday evening following reports of a bedroom fire.
Firefighters needed breathing apparatus to tackle the quickly developing fire, which started due to a halogen heater being left too close to bedding.
All those in the property were able to safely evacuate due to an early warning from their smoke alarms.
The fire service is reminding the public to test their smoke alarms weekly.
