The number of visitors for the Southern 100 in 2017 was up by 50% according to Government figures.
The Department for Enterprise revealed 4,770 people came to the Island for the races on the Billown circuit last July, compared to around 3,200 in 2016.
The visitor survey revealed visitors spent an average of 4.3 nights on the Island for the races, spending a total of £2.1m - £700,000 more than the year before.
Three quarters said they'd been to the Southern 100 before, with two-thirds also visiting for other events such as the TT and Festival of Motorcycling.
Most visitors came from the British Isles, with 2% coming from further afield.
