Banning public display of offensive graphic material will be discussed in next week's sitting of the House of Keys.
Douglas Central MHK Ann Corlett will ask Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas what consideration has been given to bringing forward legislation which prevents such material being shown in public.
A UK anti-abortion group recently spent over a week on the Island displaying images of aborted foetuses outside Tynwald, in Douglas town centre and at Noble's Hospital.
Many local residents criticised the use of such images on social media, but the Island's police insisted the protest and use of graphic images is legal.
Mr Thomas will respond to the query when the House sits on Tuesday.
