Fire crews were called out in the north of the Island to winch an ill horse to safety.
Harry was unable to stand on his own while suffering from illness and fatigue near Cornaa, resulting in a team being dispatched from Ramsey Fire Station shortly after noon yesterday.
With guidance from a vet, crews were able to use a combination of strops, winches, pulleys and airbags to lift the horse into a position where he could stand on his own.
Harry was then able to be led to a nearby field to continue his recovery.
