Roads, buses return to normal after snow

A number of roads have re-opened after snow fell on the Isle of Man last night.

Several routes had to close for a time when conditions were at their worst, but only the Sloc Road remains closed this morning.

Isle of Man Transport has confirmed all of its services will be operating as normal today, having been forced to suspend bus services through housing estates last night.

As a result, the Department of Education, Sport and Culture says there are no issues to prevent schools from opening as normal.

A yellow weather warning for snow and ice remains in place until 11am.
