A survey of Manx residents' spending will get underway later this year.
The Manx Government conducts a Household Income and Expenditure Survey every five years as part of its VAT-sharing agreement with the UK.
The survey will run for a year, with 900 households selected every month to record their spending over a two-week period.
The results will determine how much VAT the Island receives under the Final Expenditure Revenue Sharing Arrangement.
Invitations for those selected to take part will start being sent out from March - those who wish to take part can register on the Government's website.
Each member of the household that meets with an interviewer and completes the survey will receive a £15 payment.
