The Island's ferry operator is warning sailings could be disrupted for the next two days because of the weather conditions.
The Steam Packet Company says all of tomorrow's and Wednesday's services between Douglas and Heysham are facing possible disruption or cancellation.
A decision on tomorrow morning's crossing will be made by 7am.
Winds reaching severe gale force nine or storm 10 are forecast over the next couple of days.
The Steam Packet expects Thursday's sailings to go ahead as scheduled.
