A Tynwald committee looking into the Government's failed bid to appoint a promoter for the Isle of Man TT wants a review into the impact of the event on the Island's economy.
MLC Michael Coleman, who is the chairman of the Economic Policy Review Committee will present the first report into Vision Nine at this month's sitting of Tynwald.
The report recommends a detailed economic impact assessment of the TT and Festival of Motorcycling should be laid before Tynwald by June this year.
The committee also wants safety to be made the Government's highest priority when dealing with the TT and Government Departments not to be able to obtain legal advice from the private sector without approval from the Attorney General.
London-based Vision Nine won a tender process to take over from the Government as the promoter of the TT, but the deal collapsed in 2016, resulting in the firm threatening legal action against the Manx Government.
