The Manx Government insists it did respond to a request for information from Indian authorities investigating a case of corruption and bribery.
It had been reported in the Indian media that the Isle of Man was one of a number of jurisdictions not to respond to a request for assistance.
However, the Government claims the Attorney General's Chambers provided all the evidence it had, and responded to a supplementary letter from the authorities in India.
The AG has now written to Indian authorities to remind them of the assistance the Island provided.
The Government says the Island is fully committed to assisting other countries in tackling financial crime, and that requests for information will always receive a response.
