Motorcyclists are being warned against illegally using their bikes in the Island's forests after two riders were fined.
Two locals were caught riding without authority at Skyhill in Ramsey, resulting in a £1000 fine.
Both motorcyclist also had their Auto Cycle Union competition licences suspended for six months.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture says riding on its land without permission poses a risk to walkers, horse riders and cyclists.
The ACU added that such activity brings the sport into disrepute, and that it will continue to work with landowners to stamp out such behaviour.
