Michael Commissioners pay tribute to former chairman

Michael Commissioners are paying tribute to a former chairman of the local authority who died earlier this week.

Roy Kennaugh, who served on the board for many years, passed away on Wednesday evening.

The Commissioners say he held the post with loyalty and integrity, while everything he did for the community he did with passion and love of his heritage.

Flags in the village will be flown at half mast until after Mr Kennaugh's funeral.
