Douglas Coastguard had to secure a boat that had broke its mooring in the south of the Island.
A team from Douglas were on a routine patrol on Christmas Eve when they were asked to check the yacht in Port St Mary.
An officers in a dry suit assessed the situation an was able to secure the bow line to a buoy and chain.
