Police warn against buying stolen birds

Police are urging the Manx public not to buy birds that could be stolen.

Officers warn those offering a duck, goose or turkey for sale may have stolen the bird.

Police say free range animals are tempting to opportunists, but the thefts wouldn't happen if the birds couldn't be sold on.

Anyone who has been offered a bird for sale or has other information about such thefts is urged to contact Castletown Police Station.
