Police warn against leaving Christmas presents in cars

Police are urging Manx residents not to leave Christmas presents in their vehicles.

Officers in the south of the Island have received reports of suspicious activity near cars parked in Port Erin and Port St Mary.

The Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team warns leaving presents visible in cars makes them a target for thieves.

Motorists are also reminded to always lock their vehicles when unattended.
